Wolf Lewitt Interiors has completed the transformation of a contemporary weekend and holiday home in the Cotswolds, creating a warm and welcoming retreat tailored to the evolving needs of a highly social family. The project focused on updating and reconfiguring the property to better support family life, entertaining and future generations, while working within budget through carefully considered design interventions.

The clients, whose four children have now grown up, wanted a home that could adapt to changing patterns of use while retaining a strong sense of comfort and personality. Rather than undertaking extensive structural alterations, Wolf Lewitt Interiors focused on enhancing the existing architecture through materiality, colour and spatial planning. Layered textures, curated finishes, bespoke joinery and strategic lighting were introduced to soften the contemporary interior and create a more enduring sense of home.

One of the most significant interventions was the transformation of a previously neglected multipurpose room into a vibrant Club Room. Once filled with unused gym equipment, oversized toys and clutter, the space was redefined by Wolf Lewitt Interiors through bespoke joinery, wallpaper, oversized rugs and carefully designed lighting. Organised into a series of distinct activity zones, the room now serves as a sophisticated social hub and has become the focal point of the home’s social life.

The completed project reflects Wolf Lewitt Interiors’ ability to balance sophistication, practicality and personality, creating a home designed for togetherness, longevity and joyful family living.
