The interior design of the G600 fully outfitted test aircraft is a reflection of the Gulfstream customer experience, where every aspect of the journey is a moment worth remembering. At the centre of the design is the opportunity for customer individuality and flexibility, underscored by a timeless serenity, elegance and comfort, all of which are hallmarks of travelling on a Gulfstream.

The Gulfstream G600, one of the company’s newest aircraft, was designed around the customer, from the flight deck to the baggage compartment. To facilitate individuality and customization, the cabin interior was created to allow ultimate versatility. Gulfstream’s design team carried this throughout the cabin elements, from the seats to the many surfaces within the cabin area, integrating the interior design throughout various surface choices, such as fabric, leather, veneer, lacquer and mirror.

A central focus of the fully outfitted G600 is the mirrored mid-cabin bulkhead, a literal reflection of the customer experience and cabin versatility. Reflection continues in subtle ways, from the layered, mixed grain on the mocca oak veneer whose stripes catch light with understated elegance to the geometric carpet pattern that mimics the herringbone design of the seats’ perforated and quilted inserts.

The G600 cabin theme of flexibility and reflection is a direct result of customer feedback Gulfstream gathered during the development of the aircraft. In keeping with Gulfstream’s tradition of exceeding expectations, Gulfstream customers have been a guiding voice ensuring the comfort and functionality of the cabin as Gulfstream works to deliver on the promises of the G600.

The G600 fully outfitted interior design works so well because the themes of flexibility and elegance are woven into every surface with the utmost subtlety, from the clear focal points, such as seats and bulkheads, to notes of hidden richness — trim accents, accent stitching and specialty lining, to name a few. All these elements are tailored for the client to punctuate the overall interior design, achieving a true integrity of aesthetic.
