Project Name: Marcato (previously Copasetic) Refit
Date Delivered: January 2017
Submitted By: Bluewater USA
Shipyard: Rybovich
Interior Designer: Owner

Originally designed and commissioned to provide a comfortable platform to support various marine research missions, the new owners envisioned Marcato as the ultimate luxury expedition yacht. Although the yacht already provided ample owner and guest quarters including 2 galleys for guests and crew and a boat deck that can support both a 28′ and 32′ tender; wave runners; land scooter and more, the new owners envisioned a luxurious interior which would satisfy even the most discriminating tastes.

Virtually all interior finishes were replaced or refinished in a fresh modern motif as well as all the soft goods. The sky-lounge was enlarged to accommodate a full complement of guests, and teak was expanded throughout all guest exterior decks. The sun-deck which was originally a fly deck was redesigned as an elegant sun and hot tub deck. A completely new audio-visual system was designed specifically for the vessel with 12 TVs and 4 surround systems with audio speakers covering every interior and exterior space. All walls are now a beach cottage feeling matte white, with beautiful high contrast dark walnut flooring on the main deck level. Modern bar just inside the double doors to the aft deck, with white leather bar chairs and sectional seating arrangement.

The skylounge with its own private aft deck and master bedroom on the same level, lends the owners/VIP charter guests the utmost in privacy and luxury. However, the massive sundeck situated 65′ above sea level offers a panoramic view at a height unmatched by any other motor yacht, perfect to watch the sunset! This yacht was built for safety, with a steel hull and high gunwales make it impossible to fall overboard. The enormous forward deck was built to carry tenders and toys, of which she has plenty, and when off loaded, can comfortably be set up to entertain 100 guests (or more) dockside.
