The Sun Odyssey 490 invites to experience greater well-being and comfort by her innovative features on the outside and on the inside. She enhances quality of life at sea by a highly performant conception and by her pure interior lines and volume. She revolutionizes cruising: she benefits from an entirely new, innovative layout for greater ease of movement about the boat.

On the interior, the ambiance is warm and polished, soft and welcoming. She features clean lines and a spacious open layout. The Sun Odyssey 490 offers a harmonious design for easy handling, making waves and enjoying life on board.

At once she is seaworthy and welcoming, cosy and sporty, masculine and feminine, the Sun Odyssey 490 is as attractive on the interior as she is on the exterior. Designed by Philippe Briand and Jean-Marc Piaton, the new Sun Odyssey 490 successfully combines contemporary style and harmony, while at the same time respecting the heritage of the 27-years-old iconic Sun Odyssey range. This surprising and aesthetic interior shows a successful collaboration with Jean-Marc and his team.

The Sun Odyssey 490 is characterized by a multitude of small technical and technological details to transform life on board. The designers created the upper deck with innovation, conceptualising a deck with no obstacles. The side decks are inclined, sloping down to the cockpit floor, meaning that there is no need to step over the coaming. This incomparable ease of movement on-board makes the new Sun odyssey 490 unique.
