Project Name: Santorini

Exterior Designer: Marco Casali

Interior Designer: MAG Design Studio

MAG Design Studio has translated reminiscences of Greek island breeze and Santorini volcanic lava in this new and unique interior design concept for a 60 Metre Yacht. The exterior and architecture design for the D-D 60 is by Marco Casali – TOO Design. The design approach researched unexpected perspectives and richness of materials, where technological amenities are integrated in the style design. Unique pieces of furniture, both previous and essential, reveal a place of beauty and comfort.

The main and upper decks are connected by a double height void, central staircase and elevator, creating an open space with double height glazing, yet cosy and elegant. Three different external areas and two terraces allow for a great connection with the sea and to maximise guests pleasure with an aft pool and spa. The sporadic use of deep blue hues in the Master Cabin illuminate an overwhelming feeling of oceanic serenity. The bow area is developed in this special version for a comfortable touch and go helipad that could be turned in a huge flush deck terrace over the water with a hidden pool.

Complying to an initial brief, MAG Design Studio have created all the furniture to look and feel both fresh and earth-borne. Studies on the surfaces, on the colours and especially on the metal finishing have rendered the final Santorini mood. The interior is exceptionally elegant, thanks to the wide views and unique furnishing. But it is also cosy, thanks to the warm tones of the metal finishing. The freshness of the sea breeze flows directly in the materials and colours of the interior, as a continuum.
