A new superyacht concept commissioned by Oceanco, with an exterior designed by Timur and an Interior by Gina Brennan, for showcase at the Dubai Yacht Show 2019. The Esquel superyacht is a one of a kind project with a bold ambition to reinvent perceptions of what beauty and comfort is possible aboard a superyacht.

The brief was to create a unique look and feel geared towards the eclectic life, influences and home of a young explorer, split across 4 key areas; The Salon, Dining Room, Master Bedroom & Pool area. The opportunity to challenge the status quo of conventional super yacht design and the freedom and scope to re-think modern day luxury on board a boat

It was important for Gina Brennan to design Esquel with a true purpose and personality. The entire aesthetic is focused on a clear profile – bringing to life the dreams, travels and pleasures of a modern adventurer. Showcasing an eclectic mix of antiques and artefacts collected on his/her travels that help tell a story of travel and adventure as well as bringing a certain charm to the space.

This super yacht is about adventure, the interiors need to be cool and sturdy, but with chic elements to give it a warm atmosphere it still feels like being on board a luxury super yacht.Creating areas where you can entertain friends and socialise, but also little nooks where you can read and research. Comfort, enjoyment and social pleasure is at its core.
