Product name: MY Quinta Essentia

Supplier: Fromental Ltd

Interior Designer: Michela Reverberi Studio

Fromental produce hand-painted and hand-embroidered wallcoverings of the utmost quality on the finest silk, using the highest levels of craftsmanship. Michela Reverberi Studio specified to work alongside them to create custom wallcoverings for a 55mt MY Superyacht. The project brief was to combine typical decorative elements of Tuscany’s traditional arts and crafts, reinterpreted in a contemporary vein to conjure up an evocative atmosphere. Fromental designed wallcoverings for the master bedroom, cabins, corridors, en suites and powder rooms. Each cabin has a different theme and the design chosen for each area was custom made to fit the space, subsequently making each design unique to this project. Each colourway was developed for the client to ensure that it fitted perfectly within each colour scheme.

The key aspect of the project is the exclusivity of the wallcoverings as they are hand-painted on silk with hand-embroidered elements by an expert team of artists in our Studios in Wuxi. The specialist requirements and space constraints as seen in Superyacht and Aviation Interiors mean that Fromental’s capability of tailoring each design to fit the client’s elevations is invaluable. This is visible throughout the master bedroom, cabins, en-suites and powder rooms of the project MY Quinta Essentia; particularly on the bedhead walls and joinery panelling details.

Fromental’s design integrates into the wider environment by combining the finest skills together with luxurious fabrics. Their distinctly British style blends historic classicism with the cutting-edge of London’s up-and-coming fashion scene to create contemporary, timeless interiors, making it perfectly suited for this contemporary designed Superyacht. They create their wallcoverings on the finest silk, preserving, encouraging and developing innovative and artisan skills. The wallpapers are hand-painted prior to being part or fully embroidered with silk and metallic threads. They pioneered the technique of embellishing wallpapers with fine silk embroidery, taking an already supreme decorative form to new heights of opulence.
