Construction is well underway in Turkey on Mengi Yay’s latest 43.7- metre superyacht project, Virtus. The Virtus’ hull is being constructed out of steel and is almost finished and work has begun on her aluminium superstructure. Virtus features naval architecture by Ginton Naval Architects, Virtus is projected to be completed towards the end of 2019.

Virtus is the product of a strong and elegant design approach by Italian design studio VYD Studios undertaking both her interior and exterior design. Virtus has an incredibly sleek profile which is accompanied by innovative technology throughout. The strong and pure lines seen in the design are what make Virtus special, coupled with the fantastic experience of Mengi Yay, this yacht is truly special.

Virtus features a five-stateroom layout with an on-deck king master suite along with four guest staterooms below, all with en-suite baths. Additional amenities include a main salon, formal dining salon with Murano crystal fixtures, a commercial galley and an oversized aft deck. VYD Studios always look at the project in its complexity, so it is not easy to define and separate some features which are preferred or favourite. Though we can more easily define the uniqueness of Virtus based on her sleek and elegant lines which retain originality without compromising the interior spaces.

Innovation, unique exterior styling and an experienced builder, are the recipe for the perfect yacht and VYD Studios have done their best to look beyond what has already been produced in previous yachts to find a style which can overcome the current trends and become a timeless masterpiece
