Albatross Marine Design is based in Thailand and known for its expertise in catamaran design, both yachts and commercial. They are developing a new wavepiercing catamaran yacht to meet the market demand for compact but functional superyachts. Astrolabe110 is the result.

This 110′ yacht concept offers unprecedented facilities and comfort, utilizing all advantages of the catamaran platform. Being a luxury yacht of expedition style, she provides unlimited cruising opportunities for her owner or for corporate events. The design is 4-deck with a large saloon and masters quarters on the main deck. In fact, the main deck can be configured to client wishes.

Two additional guest cabins and pilothouse are on the upper deck. The Flybridge is fitted with an outdoor seating area and steering station. Crew quarters and galley, and also engine rooms are on the lower deck. Special attention was given to fuel efficiency, seaworthiness and comfort of ride. With wave piercing bows and high bridge deck clearance the yacht is capable to undertake serious voyages.

Astrolabe110 also carries a lot of toys on board, such as tenders and jetski, which are essential for expeditional activities and watersports.

In general, Albatross Marine Design designed the boat around performance, comfort and appearance. Their philosophy is to combine a high level of comfort and advantage of catamaran space with uncompromised performance and seakeeping. This yacht is able to undertake serious passages. Due to her shape and style, she will also be visible in any marina – a real statement for the boats owner.

The ability to cruise at fuel-saving speed, to access shallow moorings and plenty of accommodation spaces with natural airflow make this yacht perfect for life on board in tropics. For the designers, this is the perfect ‘runaway concept’ – perhaps perfect for self isolation on remote islands?
