Project Name: The Gulfstream G700

Date Completed: October 2019

Interior Designer: Gulfstream Design Studio

Exterior Designer: Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.

The all-new Gulfstream G700™, the business-jet industry’s new flagship, was introduced in October 2019 with the tallest, widest and longest cabin in the industry and the longest range at the highest speeds. The G700 heralds the new decade with the perfect combination of Gulfstream’s unparalleled excellence in design and innovation, bringing together space and speed to offer customers an unprecedented business-jet experience.

With its four living areas plus an ultra-galley and passenger lounge, the G700 interior is suited for seamless movement from home to office, from work to family and from one continent to another with passengers feeling healthy and well regardless of the time or distance between departure and destination. The design of the G700 interior reflects these smooth transitions through a harmonious play of contours and shapes.

In the G700 ultra-galley, the industry’s largest, passengers are welcomed by stone flooring with alternating curved panels of matte and gloss, more than 10 feet of counter space and a divan with rounded back and armrests in the aircraft’s unique passenger lounge.

Passengers are eased into the cabin and additional living areas through softly arched doorways and a bespoke carpet pattern that balances arcing curves with geometric shapes and lines. Subtly curved furniture, ledges, veneer inlays and seat accents soften sharp shapes, reflecting a Gulfstream experience that marries globe-spanning travel with immense cabin comfort and superb aircraft performance.

The passengers’ physical environment can also be shaped by the cabin’s systems, resulting in an interior that fosters wellness. A Gulfstream-designed lighting system dynamically mimics sunrise and sunset and creates natural light by mixing warm and cool white light with amber LEDs rather than the typical mix of red, green and blue lights that imitate instead of illuminate. This, along with 20 Gulfstream panoramic oval windows, the largest in the industry; the industry’s lowest cabin altitude; 100 percent fresh air; and a whisper-quiet cabin, helps the G700 take care of its passengers.
