161′ (49.07m) ‘Carte Blanche’ is a beautiful superyacht, built by award-winning American shipyard Christensen Yachts in 2009 and fully refitted by Bonville Associates in 2019. Carte Blanche features playful, luxury décor, with generous spaces and mahogany finishes throughout.

The interior and exterior design of Carte Blanche was inspired by the owner’s love of colour and their playful art collection. Bonville Associates enjoyed working with their clients to select happy and colourful fabrics and accessories to brighten each space and make it feel inviting. The guest staterooms were personalized to each family member’s taste and interests, ensuring they feel at home while onboard. The playful exterior design showcases the owner’s love for pink and blue, whilst allowing them and their guests to have a fun experience onboard; dining al fresco or enjoying their wide range of water toys!

A key aspect of this project for Bonville Associates was the carefree attitude and trust of their client. They really wanted the designers to execute a cheerful environment and allowed them to have fun with their varied colourful selections – an opportunity which Bonville Associates does not get often. The refitted Carte Blanche works so well because it truly reflects the client’s taste whilst ensuring they’re comfortable and at home on board.
