The vision for DutchCraft was born from the experiences of the owner and founder, Sietse Koopmans, while he cruised the world on his explorer superyacht, covering over 100,000 nautical miles and 46 countries. As a long-time yachtsman, Sietse understands the needs of owners – and that these might change from time to time, depending on where you are and what you are doing.

So, versatility of use and safe, worry-free boating were the top priorities, alongside outstanding levels of comfort. The DutchCraft DC56 has a fresh, simple appeal with clean lines and a robust look. When it comes to design and construction, it was important that the DC65 be easily cleaned and maintained and have lower running costs than equivalents on the market.

The ultimate aim: giving owners an “easy boating” experience, year after year. This can be seen in a range of details, from the composite deck (replacing high – maintenance teak) to extra – large storage lockers in easy to reach locations. The DC56 Open has a new and fresh approach on boating.
