Project name: M/Y GO

Shipyard: Turquoise Yachts

Interior Designer:  H2 Yacht Design

Exterior Designer: H2 Yacht Design

M/Y GO is one of the finest examples of mega yachts. She is designed by H2 and built by Turquoise Yachts and delivered in 2018.

The 77 meter M/Y GO is a technologically advanced and modern evolution from Turquoise Yachts 2012 award-winning 72m power yacht Vicky. Well-proportioned and graceful, M/Y GO will be the largest yacht designed and built by Turquoise Yachts to date.

Although M/Y GO bears a family resemblance to Vicky, her profile is sleeker, cleaner and incorporates a stretched arch that runs all the way around the aft of the vessel. Furthermore, the extra length and increase to the beam has permitted an additional owner’s deck with a forward facing suite that has uninterrupted views over the bow and access to a private outside deck area with spa pool.

The soft lines and distinguishable midship arch and balconies are somewhat of a recognisable H2 Design feature successfully integrated onto other H2 designs. This architectural feature provided a strong identity and family resemblance for the exterior styling of a new design proposal however after further development the forward section of the arch was removed to improve the visibility from the forward-facing owner’s suite.

MY GO was designed in a ‘Modern Classic’ style for a client who demanded a rich and sumptuous interior, with intricate detailing and a high level of craftsmanship.  In the early stages of the project Turquoise Yachts developed an interior design concept called ‘Water in Motion’, and this is reflected in the colours, fabrics and finishes selected.  The colour turquoise was chosen by the client as the feature colour and can be seen throughout the interior.  Bold Turquoise Amazonite marble in used as the feature stone in the VIP ensuite and back-lit slabs of Turquoise Onyx hang in the Master ensuite.  Shagreens, leathers, specialist finishes, artwork and fabrics all feature the colour turquoise in countless shades.
