Project Name: Kratos

Location: Spain

Date Completed: June 2020

Naval Architect: Sirius Naval Architects

Kratos by Sirius Naval Architects is a project which gets its epic name from the male personification of strength and power according to Greek mythology. The design of Kratos’ shapes was inspired by the great white shark, resulting in this 20-meter yacht being characterized by its dynamic and powerful lines, reflective of its dynamic and powerful muse.

The yacht, made of Carbon Fibre and GRP, reaches 30kn thanks to two 1300hp engines. In addition to this, the use of carbon fibre in some structural elements such as the bridge and superstructure allows for greater interior volume and better stability characteristics. Hidden behind its forms, it has spacious and bright spaces for relaxation.

It is a unique and different yacht. On the main deck there is the command bridge attached to a spacious lounge and with access to the sun area. For Sirius Naval Architects, their favourite aspect of the project are the dynamic and powerful lines. The Kratos design works so well due to the fact it is an innovative design, for owners who want to get away from conventional yachts.

Thanks to its hull with a highly hydrodynamic design and its aerodynamic superstructure, Kratos fits perfectly into the wider environment of the yachting world, whilst maintaining a true sense of individuality.
