Project Name: Cat 50

Date Completed: April 2020

Andreani Design naturally began the design process with a quick sketch on a messy sheet that General Manager, Pierangelo, always keeps close to his computer. The idea was then expanded to formulate the general dimensions and layout.

During the process of designing project, Andreani Design sought to identify with the client, and wonder how they would like to live on board themselves. In this case, the priority was to take advantage of the Maxi Cat’s fifty meter length and twenty meter width to caress the sea, with exteriors that at the stern allows you to feel truly at one with the sea. In addition to a considerable internal space, the owner has a balcony and a Jacuzzi. The bow deck offers absolute privacy during stops in port, or to enjoy the breeze while sailing.

The Maxi Cat has begun to take shape and the first layout is aimed at a sporty customer, with four guest cabins and an immense multi-function saloon, the outdoor spaces offer both aft and bow an engaging proximity to the sea. The main deck offers a large open space at the stern with bar and solarium areas. The dining area can be opened or closed to the outside according to weather conditions and the owner’s preferences, the central part of the boat is occupied by living areas, bar and services; kitchen, pantry and staircase are located in the central body. At the bow we find another open space accessible from the central hall and the service area.

The full-height windows in the living room allow for a 360-degree view in any climatic condition. There are two guest cabins per hull, the crew and service staff are housed in the bow. The technical rooms and access to the garage or gym and the engine rooms are in the stern. At the stern we find another area that is almost in contact with the water which, thanks to the central platform adjustable on three levels, which becomes from time to time housing for tenders or helipad, solarium or hauling for tender and swimming pool in the sea in safety.
