The 50 metre, LEL, is an under 500 GT full custom boat, made for an experienced yacht owner with specific  requirements. The owner wanted a fast and sporty yacht like the ones that he had previously owned, but this time with larger indoor volumes and more deck space. He wanted something where comfort would be masked by aggressive lines. Rossinavi took inspiration from four-wheel drive sports cars, that combine comfort and space with sporty lines. The key word here is versatility.

LEL has fluid and dynamic forms and its silhouette is marked by strong horizontal lines which also function as windows. The grills on both sides of the aft are what really characterize this yacht and make it so unique, serving both a functional and aesthetic purpose. For an added sporty touch, Rossinavi opted for a very particular type of grey for the exterior which changes shade depending on what time of day it is.

The interiors are contemporary, elegant and everything is custom made, right down to the light switches. The crystal veranda that can be left completely open or closed, not only allows the entire main deck to be furnished with sofas and armchairs but also allows the owner and guests to enjoy lunch and dinner in a glass “cube” that can be cooled or heated depending on the temperature outside.

The most challenging part was building all the dual-use parts, for example the beach club, which is an area that can be used both completely open for parties and for the guests and also as a garage whether the boat goes for long range navigations. A beach club of this size has never been seen before on a 50 metre yacht under 500GT. Rossinavi achieved this by increasing the height of the main deck and connecting this area to the beach club through a four-step staircase. When the side and stern doors are lowered, interior and exterior areas organically merge into one vast and comfortable entertaining space featuring an indoor bar area where the tender can also be accommodated.

Undoubtedly the flybridge of LEL is special in the width and breadth. The boat has a lateral verticality in its external lines that is generally difficult to combine with the harmony of the design, but in this case, Luca Dini Design has succeeded. From the initial concept, LEL is a rather complex boat as there is a condition of very articulated tonnage deductions which makes it possible to extend the boat up to those dimensions and those volumes, in fact it is a boat incredibly rich in spaces and this is the point on which it was created.
