Luminosity is a hybrid giga yacht that reimagines ocean-based luxury and leisure, the brief was to design a state of the art yacht from the inside out and to flood the interiors with as much light as possible to maintain a deep connection to the sea. Luminosity is 107.6 metres long with a beam of 17 metres and a volume of 5,844GT, it features over 800 square metres of floor to ceiling exterior glass wrapped around the main decks. The 3-metre-high windows are entirely uninterrupted by the structure of the yacht, a seamless link with the wide-open oceans.

Cutting edge technology was incorporated such as the pioneering hybrid propulsion system with diesel-electric engines and two ABB Azipods propulsion units which are connected to a specially developed battery pack for vibration-free navigation. Luminosity also features the largest battery system that has ever been installed on a yacht. Upon entering the expansive lobby, guests are introduced to the next level of luxury. A unique 18-metre-high video wall incorporates a biophilic design of an interactive forest flows down the main stairwell and all six decks.

The interiors by Zaniz Ltd were designed to be flexible for all kinds of people to enjoy longer periods of time together on board. The beach club on the lower deck provides the perfect example, the swimming pool can be raised to allow a space big enough to host a 100-person party at night, simultaneously the space is comfortable enough for children to play during the daytime.

Luminosity is one of a kind, exceptional yacht. It is designed to be future proof through technological advancements and has a particular emphasis on ease of serviceability. The interior is a modern artistic wonderland. There is a great variety in the guest spaces and no two spaces are alike. All the internal areas are filled with light and connect back to the sea in their detailing, where every detail tells a story.
