The Nordhavn 80 is a Full Displacement Motor Yacht designed to cross any ocean in 5 star comfort and safety. The N80 is a distinctive yacht that bridges the gap between “Yacht” and “Megayacht”. She has all the features of a much larger vessel while maintaining ease of handling with minimal or no crew.

The interior has a bright and open feel with large windows that let natural light flood the interior. Even the lower deck cabins feature large windows that give these areas a much more open feel. There are three large outdoor living areas that provide comfortable seating and lounging for all as well as being separated to give privacy when desired. The open fly bridge features a six person Jacuzzi Spa, dining for up to 12 people and an outdoor galley with refrigerator, BBQ and sink.

The goal with the N80 was to give her owner’s a luxurious interior that feels warm and comfortable while making sure it would stand up to the rigors of true offshore passage making. The buyer of this yacht requested an elevator to get from deck to deck. This is very unique in this size range and Nordhavn Yachts were able to achieve this using a “vacuum” elevator which works nicely even in rough sea conditions.

The N80 was built by a talented team of carpentry specialist who were able to incorporate the exotic wood specification and intricate wood inlays requested by the client. Every piece of fine furniture was designed and built to order from the client’s sketches and descriptions. It combines all the aspects of luxury while maintaining the ruggedness necessary to safely take its passengers to the far reaches of the globe. The fuel efficient hull design incorporates the latest CFD refinement tools that allowed the designers to really fine tune various aspects such as the bulbous bow shape and keel shapes.
