Naval Architect/Exterior Designer: Espen Oino

Shipyard: Silver Yachts

The 85m Wanderlust, built and launched by Australian shipyard SilverYachts in 2022, is part of the Silver World Explorer series of all-aluminium expedition yachts. A tough, naval-looking exterior belies Wanderlust’s interior luxury.

Showcasing bright, clean and modern interior spaces that instantly create a zen-like atmosphere onboard – from the 11-meter beam, high-ceiling lounge area to the opulent and tranquil winter garden – the yacht is home to an abundance of sumptuous and spacious areas where guests can kick back, relax and socialise.

The distinctive superyacht is the second iteration of the militant and utilitarian series, following on from her iconic and polarising sistership Bold. Wanderlust certainly stands out in a crowd with her confident profile and instantly recognisable triangular main deck glazing. Much like her predecessor, Wanderlust features an exterior design and naval architecture penned by internationally renowned designer Espen Øino.

The motor yacht features plenty of main deck glazing alongside the band of privacy glass that encircles the loft on the upper deck with an interactive ceiling. The winter garden space of Wanderlust includes floor-to-ceiling glass that slides away to create a remarkable open-air shaded terrace. The loft and wintergarden change the tone of the yacht, from rugged Navy vessel to Starship Enterprise.

Wanderlust has been built to accommodate up to 12 guests across eight contemporary staterooms. An entire private deck is reserved for the owner, and besides the luxurious cabin with double bed in the centre, en-suite bathroom and private office, they are able to enjoy the winter garden with floor-to-ceiling glass that slides away and turns the space into an open-air shaded terrace, as well as a private lounge and dining area. The rest of the guest suites, located on the main deck, are equally lavish and comfortable, finished in neutral tones with a contemporary aesthetic.
