Interior Designer: Massari Design

Shipyard: Golden Yachts

In the ever-evolving world of superyacht design, Massari Design has once again showcased their expertise through the revitalisation of the 60m superyacht, MY O’ Eva. Originally constructed in 2009 by the CMN shipyard, this vessel has undergone a significant refit at the hands of the Golden Yachts shipyard, which was unveiled in the spring of 2023.

Focusing on the interior noble areas, Massari Design has masterfully executed the client’s vision for contemporary and elegant interiors, while meticulously preserving the existing architectural details. The challenge lay in seamlessly replacing certain materials while integrating spaces with furnishings that would elevate the overall style of the new design.

Introducing a novel approach to loose furniture, Massari Design proposed elements that are simple yet sophisticated, creating a harmonious interaction with their surroundings. The carefully curated colour palette, featuring light tones with dark contrasts, incorporates hints of terracotta and blue, adding a touch of vibrancy to the interiors.

Noteworthy is the studio’s meticulous attention to leather panelling, adorned with intricate stitching details. This refined detailing, coupled with the lighter colour scheme, imparts a brighter, airier aesthetic, accentuating the inflow of natural light through the expansive side windows and enhancing the voluminous feel of the interior.

Every facet of the design has been meticulously crafted, with each element contributing to an unforgettable experience on board. The artistry of a refit lies in the transformative process of turning an existing space into something entirely new and unexpected. With MY O’ Eva, Massari Design has once again demonstrated its ability to reimagine and redefine the essence of superyacht interiors.
