Frank Neubelt Yacht Designs by German Yacht Couture International has unveiled the COONE-140, a groundbreaking addition to the luxury sailing market and the first innovative flybridge performance world cruiser of its size. Designed for both exhilarating regatta racing and long-distance blue-water cruising, the COONE-140 sets a new benchmark in semi-custom yacht design.

Commissioned by an experienced racing yacht owner, the yacht is already under construction and embodies a unique fusion of speed, autonomy, and luxury. With a hull length of 41 metres plus bowsprit, it promises the performance of a racing yacht while offering the comfort of a high-end world cruiser. The design supports long-term, autarkic living on anchor with transatlantic range, catering to a maximum of six guests in exceptional privacy and comfort.

A standout feature is the apartment-style master stateroom with its own private entrance and terrace, leading to a single-level cockpit and salon area topped by an elegantly styled flybridge. Expansive, screen-sized windows allow for immersive views and natural light, forming part of an innovative weight-saving aluminium and carbon composite construction system developed under RINA class by FNYD.

Performance is at the heart of the COONE-140. The yacht features a Southern Spars mast, Rig-Pro rigging, and a push-button sail handling system that enables up to three foresail configurations. A 4–6 metre lifting keel ensures variable draft capability, while a custom-engineered 180-degree hybrid propulsion system by Hundested, along with a fingertip-controlled twin-rudder setup, ensures responsive and efficient handling under both sail and power.

On deck, the yacht offers extensive storage for water toys, including a Williams tender and two Reverso sailing dinghies. A large fold-out bathing platform enhances the beach club experience, while generous crew quarters for up to seven support smooth onboard operations.

The COONE-140 represents the first model of a serial semi-custom line from Conrad Yachts, ranging from 42 to 45 metres, with bespoke interiors and traditional or hybrid propulsion options. The next hull is available for order now, with delivery expected in late 2028, marking an exciting future for discerning sailors who demand both performance and luxury.
