OLT Design has unveiled an extraordinary interior concept for a 40-metre yacht, seamlessly blending the glamour of the stormy 1920s with a contemporary, ocean-inspired aesthetic. Drawing influence from the depths of the sea and the enigmatic octopus, the design is a rich tapestry of vibrant colours, intricate details, and refined craftsmanship, creating a space that is both captivating and timeless.

At the heart of the interior is a mesmerising mosaic panel adorning the spiral staircase, embodying the organic, fluid forms of the octopus. This central feature is complemented by a harmonious fusion of Art Deco and Art Nouveau elements, showcasing OLT Design’s commitment to merging tradition with modernity. The ceiling design, framed by a reflective black mirror surface, amplifies the sense of height and space with its bright white accents and soft highlights. Vertical patterns on the walls and sweeping modern columns further enhance the salon’s openness and sophistication.

The main salon is an inviting space, thoughtfully furnished with Vladimir Kagan-inspired sofas that balance comfort with striking design. Recreational areas exude an air of relaxed elegance, perfect for both socialising and unwinding. A bright bar area featuring a spacious wine fridge offers a focal point for entertainment, while the combination of rich mahogany and teak woods with chrome and stainless steel accents introduces a warm yet avant-garde ambiance.

A standout feature is the circular dining area, designed for memorable social gatherings. This versatile space can be fully opened to connect seamlessly with the yacht’s surroundings, allowing guests to enjoy exquisite meals alongside panoramic views. Deep yellow dining chairs and a marble table lend an opulent yet welcoming touch, enhanced by elegant décor.

OLT Design’s bold use of colour, exclusive elements, and attention to detail bring this interior to life, paying homage to the glamour of the past while embracing contemporary innovation. The result is a yacht interior that radiates luxury, sophistication, and a vibrant celebration of oceanic beauty.
