Meyer Davis has unveiled a groundbreaking interior design project for a 140-foot custom catamaran, seamlessly blending luxury, sustainability, and innovation. Designed in collaboration with Rossinavi and Fulvio de Simoni, the vessel sets a new benchmark in eco-conscious yachting, powered by BluE hybrid-electric technology. This cutting-edge system allows for four operation modes, enabling fully electric day trips and reducing environmental impact on multi-day voyages and transatlantic crossings.

Inspired by the client’s vision of natural elegance, Meyer Davis has created a design that is both sophisticated and deeply connected to the sea. Every element has been carefully considered to enhance sustainability without compromising luxury. Recycled wool rugs, wire-brushed wood panelling, and woven raffia wall coverings add warmth and texture while supporting a commitment to renewable and biodegradable materials. Scandinavian influences guide the aesthetic, infusing the interiors with soft, natural tones that create an inviting and contemporary atmosphere.

The yacht’s layout is designed for effortless flow, offering spaces that encourage both social interaction and private retreat. A standout feature is the forward-facing bow lounge, which transforms the experience of being at sea by focusing on ocean immersion rather than spectacle. This philosophy extends to the outdoor areas, including an expansive beach club and an outdoor cinema, ensuring a seamless transition between interior and exterior spaces.

Craftsmanship is at the heart of this project, with meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the design. The primary stateroom, for example, resembles a luxury residence rather than a conventional yacht cabin, featuring a sculptural custom headboard and carefully selected materials that exude refinement and comfort.

The BluE hybrid-electric system is not an afterthought but a defining feature, shaping the yacht’s materials, layout, and overall ethos.
