Bilgin Yachts has unveiled the latest addition to its acclaimed Bilgin 163 series, the 50-metre superyacht M/Y Camila, marking a significant milestone for the shipyard as it continues to refine its approach to bespoke yacht construction. Developed in collaboration with Hot Lab, the yacht represents a carefully balanced synthesis of contemporary elegance, tailored craftsmanship and performance-driven engineering.

M/Y Camila emerges as a standout within its class, offering approximately 20 per cent more volume than comparable 48-metre yachts, while maintaining a sleek and athletic exterior profile. The design prioritises open-air living, with expansive yet carefully proportioned deck spaces that foster a strong connection to the sea. A 21-metre sundeck, a generous bridge deck aft and a wide main deck seamlessly linked to the beach club create a fluid spatial experience, enhancing both social interaction and private relaxation.

Inside, the yacht reveals a calm and sophisticated atmosphere shaped by a refined palette of natural woods, polished metals and luxurious textiles. The interiors are conceived as a bespoke reflection of the owner’s lifestyle, with every detail meticulously curated to balance warmth and sophistication. Light-filled spaces define the layout, from the panoramic main saloon to the full-beam owner’s suite, while guest accommodation is designed to ensure both privacy and comfort.

The project reflects a strong emphasis on continuity between interior and exterior environments, allowing movement through the yacht to feel intuitive and cohesive. This approach is further reinforced by thoughtful spatial planning, including the repositioning of tenders to maximise guest areas and enhance the sense of openness across key decks.

Performance remains integral to the design. Powered by twin 1,450hp engines, M/Y Camila reaches a top speed of 16.5 knots while benefiting from the stability and efficiency of a full-displacement steel hull. As she prepares for a Mediterranean season, the yacht underscores Bilgin Yachts’ commitment to delivering vessels that unite engineering precision with a highly personalised onboard experience.
