The 45-metre yacht concept DOMA presents a sophisticated exploration of layered architecture and material dialogue, redefining the experience of living at sea through a refined and contemporary lens. The interior, designed by Due Mani Interiors, is complemented by the exterior styling of B&I Yachts, resulting in a cohesive and balanced design vision.

Conceived as an exercise in architectural restraint, the project prioritises spatial clarity, comfort, and material depth over overt visual excess. A defining principle of the interior is the use of layered surfaces, where multiple materials are composed with subtle separations. This approach allows materials to interact visually, generating depth and rhythm while preserving their individual identities.

The interplay between reflective and transparent elements further enhances the spatial experience. Bronze mirror finishes capture and diffuse light, introducing movement and luminosity, while darker glass and semi-transparent panels create visual connections between spaces without compromising privacy. Curved geometries play a central role in shaping the interior language, most notably in the main salon where a circular seating arrangement establishes a natural social focal point. This is accentuated by a halo-like ceiling feature, reinforcing the architectural identity of the space.

The concept encompasses three principal areas: a VIP cabin, its en-suite bathroom, and the main salon. Each reflects a consistent design philosophy while responding to functional requirements. Emphasis has also been placed on buildability, ensuring that every design element remains practical and achievable.

Overall, DOMA achieves a harmonious balance between architectural expression, technical feasibility, and understated luxury.
