Verge Yacht Design and F/YACHTING have unveiled a bespoke exterior coffee table that redefines expectations for outdoor yacht furniture, demonstrating how close collaboration can elevate exterior spaces to interior-level standards of refinement. Conceived as a true co-creation, the project brings together Verge Yacht Design’s architectural vision with F/YACHTING’s advanced engineering and craftsmanship, delivered through its innovation hub, F/LAB.

The ambition was to create a sculptural, highly refined piece capable of enhancing exterior yacht areas while withstanding the demanding marine environment. Verge Yacht Design developed a design language defined by fluid lines, balanced proportions, and a strong architectural presence. F/YACHTING was then tasked with translating this vision into a technically robust, sea-ready object, engineered to perform reliably in harsh outdoor conditions without compromising aesthetic integrity.

The resulting table made its debut at the Northrop & Johnson estate during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2025, where it stood as a tangible example of how design and innovation can reshape the future of exterior yacht furnishings. At its core is a seamless fusion of form and function. The table incorporates a fully in-house engineered metal substructure, a next-generation exterior lacquer system that delivers interior-grade finish quality to wood and veneer, and a stone top that balances elegance with long-term performance.

Further refinements include advanced leather embossing, precise upholstery applied to complex geometries, and integrated mechanisms with concealed storage solutions. These features enhance functionality while preserving the purity of the silhouette. Every element has been carefully considered, ensuring stability during transport and installation, as well as durability in daily use at sea.

Visually, the table integrates effortlessly into contemporary yacht exteriors. Its clean lines and material sophistication complement surrounding furniture and deck layouts without overpowering them. Instead, it subtly defines space and encourages social interaction. A high level of customisation, from finishes and leather options to stone detailing, allows the design to adapt to a wide range of yacht styles.

Through this collaboration, Verge Yacht Design and F/YACHTING have demonstrated how intentional design and technical excellence can transform an exterior object into a statement of craftsmanship, resilience, and architectural elegance.
