Exterior Designer & Naval Architect: Swisship and Pascoli International

The 93-metre superyacht concept KOA represents a forward-thinking collaboration between German Naval Yards (GNY), Swisship Yacht Projects under the direction of Andreas Iseli, and Pascoli International, led by Kristian Pascoli. Conceived for the next generation of large superyacht owners, the project embodies a refined balance of innovation, performance, and contemporary design.

With a beam of 14.60 metres, a draft of 4 metres, and an internal volume of approximately 3,500 GT, KOA integrates advanced hybrid propulsion with expansive and flexible onboard living spaces. The exterior is defined by clean architectural lines, flush glazing, and glass-panel railings, creating a sleek and timeless silhouette. A sophisticated hybrid system, incorporating twin MAN 175D engines, a 450 kW PTO/PTI configuration, and a 3 MW Corvus battery pack, enables efficient cruising, silent operation, and enhanced environmental performance.

A defining feature of the design is the sunken main deck aft pool with a glass floor, which introduces natural light into the beach club below. This space connects seamlessly to the sea through fold-down terraces, establishing a strong indoor-outdoor relationship. Internally, a dramatic double-height atrium links key guest areas, enhancing spatial fluidity and visual impact.

Guest accommodation is highly adaptable, with six suites that can be reconfigured into larger VIP arrangements. Additional amenities include a full-service spa, gym, and expansive leisure areas. Crew operations are equally considered, with dedicated zones for up to 32 personnel.
