Bilgin Yachts has revealed the interior design of M/Y Al Reem by H2 Yacht Design, presenting a contemporary superyacht environment conceived as a serene retreat defined by calmness, purity and refined craftsmanship.

The interior brief focused on creating a “serene oasis” for both owner and guests, departing from heavier, more traditional yachting aesthetics in favour of a lighter, more restorative atmosphere. Spanning 1,758 gross tonnes, the yacht’s expansive volume is unified through a soft, neutral palette designed to enhance a sense of openness and tranquillity.

Material selection plays a central role in shaping the onboard experience. Warm, organic matt timbers establish a residential character, while polished stainless steel, cream leather and silk carpets introduce a modern contrast. Natural stones are used extensively throughout the yacht—not as decorative features alone, but as integral elements that reinforce the purity and clarity of the spaces. Varieties such as Calacatta Oro, Ivory Onyx, Patagonia, Botticino, Blue Cristal and White Crystal contribute to a layered material composition that adds depth without visual excess.

The design language emphasises restraint and cohesion. Rather than relying on overt ornamentation, Bilgin Yachts & H2 Yacht Design has focused on texture, proportion and carefully balanced contrasts. Leather-wrapped surfaces, bespoke timber finishes and sculptural wall treatments create a tactile richness, while decorative glass and mirrored elements enhance light and spatial depth. Integrated lighting is used to support fluid transitions between areas, strengthening the connection between interior spaces and the surrounding seascape.

Accommodation is arranged for 12 guests across six spacious cabins, supported by a crew of 24. The layout is designed to facilitate both relaxed everyday living and large-scale entertaining, with interiors that maintain a direct visual dialogue with the exterior environment.

Throughout the yacht, each space has been carefully considered to ensure visual continuity while allowing subtle variations in texture and detailing. The result is a holistic interior concept where craftsmanship, materiality and spatial flow work in harmony.

According to Bilgin Yachts, Al Reem demonstrates how a disciplined and considered design approach can deliver a superyacht interior that feels sophisticated, offering a timeless onboard experience defined by comfort, elegance and understated luxury.
