Bilgin Yachts has completed M/Y Al Reem, the final yacht in its successful 80-metre superyacht trilogy and the most advanced evolution of the Bilgin 263 platform. Designed to push the limits of capacity, performance and bespoke craftsmanship, the yacht sets a new benchmark within the series while preserving the sleek and sporty identity that defines the range.

The brief behind Al Reem was unusually ambitious: to significantly increase the yacht’s interior volume while maintaining a sharp, athletic exterior profile. The result is a vessel with an impressive 1,758 gross tonnage, nearly 100 GT more than earlier yachts in the series. To achieve this without adding visual bulk, Bilgin Yachts undertook a complete redesign of the superstructure, sculpting smoother and more fluid lines that conceal the additional internal space while reinforcing the yacht’s imposing presence on the water.

The upper structure was carefully shaped to maintain a dynamic silhouette, ensuring the yacht appears fast and balanced at every speed. A mast enlarged by 20 per cent compared with previous models adds to the yacht’s confident stance, while expansive exterior deck spaces enhance the experience of indoor-outdoor living. The foredeck is crafted entirely from teak, complemented by a metallic grey superstructure accented with polished finishes.

Beyond its exterior design, Al Reem incorporates a number of notable onboard features, including a dramatic waterfall installation, a gym with a private sea-facing balcony, a dedicated golf playing area and an open-air cinema. Vertical movement through the vessel is facilitated by a striking round glass lift, adding a sculptural architectural element to the interior.

Internally known during development as “Project Silence”, the yacht was engineered to deliver exceptional acoustic comfort. The owner prioritised isolation from noise, vibration and even odours, leading Bilgin Yachts to collaborate with specialist acoustic consultants who measured sound levels across the vessel and implemented targeted insulation and filtration systems.

Inside, the design brief focused on creating a serene environment centred on calmness and relaxation. A light, neutral palette runs throughout the interior, combining warm matt timbers with polished stainless steel, cream leather, silk carpets and natural stone. Designed to accommodate 12 guests across six cabins and supported by a crew of 24, Al Reem balances contemporary elegance with the comfort required for extended voyages and large-scale entertaining.
