Salaminia Yachting Limited has unveiled the interior transformation of M/Y Persefoni, a comprehensive refit developed in collaboration with Luca Dini Design & Architecture that seeks to reposition the yacht as a benchmark for contemporary Mediterranean charter luxury.

The project centres on elevating both guest experience and operational efficiency, combining refined aesthetics with practical functionality. Drawing on coastal minimalism and modern Italian design, the interiors introduce a palette of warm whites, soft taupes, and natural textures, subtly contrasted with darker woods and brushed metals. These materials have been selected not only for their visual appeal but also for durability and weight efficiency, ensuring suitability for intensive charter use.

Key spaces including the main salon, owner’s suite and guest cabins have been reimagined with bespoke furniture and carefully curated furnishings, creating a more inviting and contemporary atmosphere. Lighting plays a pivotal role, with layered schemes allowing each area to shift seamlessly between relaxed daytime settings and more atmospheric evening environments.

A defining feature of the refit is the integration of museum-quality artwork, transforming the yacht into a gallery-like environment. Pieces have been selected to provide cultural depth and a strong sense of identity, with a striking sculptural work by Lynda Benglis adding a bold, contemporary counterpoint to the yacht’s clean architectural lines.

The inclusion of a state-of-the-art gym further enhances the onboard lifestyle, reflecting the expectations of modern charter clients while maintaining visual cohesion with the rest of the interior. Crew areas have also been discreetly upgraded to improve service flow, reinforcing the yacht’s performance as a high-end charter asset.

Through a carefully balanced approach to art, design and functionality, the refit delivers a cohesive and immersive environment. The result is a yacht that not only meets the demands of luxury charter but offers a distinctive, experience-led identity within a competitive global market.
