Interior Designer: PriestmanGoode

PriestmanGoode has revealed Private Sanctuary, a transformative new widebody private jet interior concept that redefines luxury through adaptability, wellbeing, and conscious design. Developed by PriestmanGoode’s Private Studio, the concept envisions the cabin of a private Airbus A350 as a modular sanctuary that fluidly adapts to every aspect of a passenger’s life, whether social, professional, or personal.

Drawing on decades of experience designing compact, high performance environments, PriestmanGoode has created a space where every element performs multiple roles without compromising comfort or aesthetic harmony. The interior is divided into four distinct yet connected zones: a flexible living area that shifts effortlessly between lounge, cinema, and fitness space; a private study that supports focus, therapy, or meditation; a full width bedroom and dressing suite offering panoramic dual side views; and a spa inspired bathroom designed to evoke calm through light, texture, and material balance.

Transformation is at the heart of the Private Sanctuary concept. Modular furniture, sliding partitions, and intelligent lighting systems allow each space to transition seamlessly between uses, while the cabin’s illumination is tuned to natural circadian rhythms, enhancing rest and rejuvenation during long-haul travel. The result is an environment that balances privacy and openness, structure and flow, a sanctuary that evolves around the passenger.

Material innovation and craftsmanship are central to the design ethos. Collaborations with renowned specialists bring both artistry and sustainability to the cabin’s surfaces: F/Lab’s bio-based Aenigma panels, Atelier Midavaine’s lacquered ginkgo leaf motifs, Nature Squared’s feather composites, and couture embroidery by the London Embroidery Studio. These materials contribute to a tactile, refined palette that feels both timeless and environmentally conscious.

By merging spatial intelligence, emotional wellbeing, and sustainable luxury, PriestmanGoode’s Private Sanctuary marks a defining step in the evolution of private aviation interiors. It embodies the studio’s belief that true luxury lies not in excess, but in the ability to adapt, rejuvenate, and inspire, transforming flight into a deeply personal, restorative experience above the clouds.
