Otto Yacht Design has introduced the V135-X-PLR, a 40-metre superyacht concept that explores a contemporary design language defined by strong proportions, precision-driven surfaces and a cohesive architectural composition.

The concept has been developed around a continuous visual connection from stern to bow, where each line contributes to an integrated whole. Its profile combines a sense of power and elegance, with carefully controlled contours that evoke both motion and structural clarity. Otto Yacht Design adopts a refined, machine-inspired aesthetic, using precise geometry to reinforce the yacht’s bold yet understated character.

At the bow, the design incorporates a mix of open and enclosed spaces, offering varied perspectives and a strong connection to the surrounding environment. A distinctive awning integrates seamlessly into the yacht’s overall design language, creating a functional and visually coherent viewing area. Internally, large windows frame panoramic views, ensuring that occupants remain visually connected to the sea.

The layout has been conceived to support both leisure and functionality. The main deck includes a conference room and a private cinema, while the owner’s deck features a panoramic master stateroom alongside a dedicated office. Wellness is a key element of the concept, with a sauna and fitness centre integrated into the beach deck, reflecting current trends in onboard lifestyle design.

Measuring 40.6 metres in length with a beam of 8.90 metres and a maximum draft of 2.60 metres, the V135-X-PLR offers approximately 400 gross tonnes of internal volume. Accommodation is arranged for up to 10 guests across five cabins, including a master suite and four guest staterooms, supported by quarters for a crew of nine.

Performance is delivered through twin engines, with the yacht designed to reach a top speed of 14 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. The balanced proportions and considered engineering underline Otto Yacht Design’s focus on combining efficiency with a strong visual identity.

According to the studio, the V135-X-PLR represents a modern superyacht approach where architectural clarity, performance and onboard experience are treated as a unified design problem, resulting in a vessel that is both functional and visually compelling.
