Otto Yacht Design has revealed the V85 One, a 25-metre sport yacht concept that explores a continuous architectural flow from aft to bow while rethinking how outdoor living can be integrated into a performance-oriented vessel.

Developed around a seamless relationship between hull and superstructure, the V85 One emphasises a linear design movement that begins at the stern and progresses uninterrupted toward the bow. This formal continuity gradually sharpens into a more dynamic, sporting character as it advances forward. By maintaining a low and compact superstructure, Otto Yacht Design reinforces the yacht’s performance identity while preserving the fluidity of its overall profile. The approach also creates the impression of forward motion even when the yacht is stationary.

Central to the concept is an expanded beach club arrangement positioned close to sea level. Opening side platforms significantly enlarge the aft area, forming a generous social space that rivals the outdoor surface of flybridge yachts of comparable size. This solution enhances the connection between guests and the water while maintaining a lower centre of gravity, a design decision intended to improve both cruising comfort and seakeeping performance.

The project also focuses on dissolving traditional boundaries between interior and exterior areas. Fully opening glass surfaces allow the main saloon to merge with the aft deck, transforming the stern into a continuous living platform that encourages social interaction and relaxation. Rather than relying on vertical expansion through additional decks, the design prioritises spatial continuity and horizontal flow.

Measuring 25 metres in length overall with a beam of 6.47 metres and a shallow draft of just 0.95 metres, the V85 One is conceived as a fast and capable cruiser. Propulsion is provided by three 1,000hp Volvo Penta engines, delivering a cruising speed of 28 knots and a maximum speed of 37 knots.

Accommodation on board is arranged for up to eight guests across four cabins, supported by quarters for a crew of five. Through its combination of performance, spatial openness and strong architectural identity, Otto Yacht Design positions the V85 One as a contemporary interpretation of the modern sport yacht.
