Sarah Larranaga Aviation Design has completed Verdant Sky, a fully upgraded Dassault Falcon 2000 that combines advanced onboard technology with a highly personalised interior, positioning the aircraft as both a high-performance jet and a refined living and working environment.

Developed as a seamless fusion of performance, innovation and design, the aircraft has undergone a comprehensive transformation, with every element reimagined to meet contemporary expectations of connectivity, comfort and usability. Equipped with Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi, a Rockwell Collins Venue cabin management system, Alto sound system and Prism lighting, the jet offers a fully integrated digital ecosystem. A secondary Gogo LV connectivity system provides additional reliability, ensuring uninterrupted communication throughout long-range operations.

At the core of the project is the idea of the aircraft as a “green retreat above the clouds”. Enhanced soundproofing creates an exceptionally calm cabin environment, allowing passengers to transition between work and rest with minimal disruption. This focus on emotional experience is central to the design approach, with every material, surface and lighting condition carefully considered to shape how the space is perceived.

Visually, the interior is defined by a bold use of green, expressed through custom branding, textured finishes and embossed leathers. Rather than serving as a purely aesthetic gesture, the colour palette is intended to reflect the client’s identity, creating a sense of continuity between the aircraft and their broader lifestyle. The result is an environment that feels less like a mode of transport and more like a personal extension of home or office.

Craftsmanship plays a significant role in delivering this vision. The project was realised with the support of West Star Aviation, whose specialists executed bespoke cabinetry in emerald gloss finishes, hand-stitched seating and tailored leather applications across walls and tables. Avionics integration was equally precise, ensuring that advanced systems were seamlessly incorporated without compromising the interior’s clarity.

Verdant Sky ultimately demonstrates how a mid-size aircraft such as the Falcon 2000 can be transformed into a highly individualised environment, where engineering precision, technological capability and expressive design converge to create a distinctive and immersive aviation experience.
