Zophia Scarlett Interiors has completed a full property redesign that transforms a dated house into a refined and welcoming family home, marking a significant new chapter for its owner. Initially conceived as a light refresh of a few rooms, the project evolved into a comprehensive interior transformation as Zophia Scarlett Interiors worked closely with the client to reimagine the entire property without altering its footprint.

The design was driven by the client’s desire to move forward following his divorce and to feel proud of his home once again. Zophia Scarlett Interiors approached the brief with sensitivity, creating an environment that balanced masculine and feminine influences while remaining timeless, comfortable and expressive of the client’s personality. Natural materials, layered textures and a refined neutral palette were used to bring warmth and depth, while clean lines and restrained detailing introduced clarity and sophistication.

Further refinements included the addition of a home office and the creation of a dedicated boot room, achieved by relocating the downstairs WC into the utility room. These thoughtful changes generated a sense of having more space without increasing the home’s footprint.

Throughout the project, Zophia Scarlett Interiors prioritised layered lighting and bespoke joinery to elevate the home’s atmosphere and usability. The result is a cohesive, elegant and deeply personal interior that aligns emotional storytelling with careful technical execution. As the client reflects, his house finally feels like a home.
