At MEHZCLA, every detail has been meticulously curated to transport guests on a sensory voyage. The restaurant blends Mediterranean elegance, vibrant energy, and bohemian charm, offering an immersive experience that reflects the diverse cultures and landscapes of these coastal paradises. More than just a restaurant, MEHZCLA embodies the vision of its owner, Mr. Omar Bin Eid Al Falasi, and the expertise of 1747studio, which sought to create a place where guests could virtually travel across the Mediterranean.

A key feature of the project is the custom-designed tiles, hand-painted in Italy to 1747studio’s specifications. Seeing them come to life in Dubai was a defining moment for the team. Similarly, hand painted vases, also based on their designs, add authenticity to the space. What sets 1747studio apart is its unique team—architects and designers with backgrounds as professional chefs—enabling them to seamlessly integrate design with the culinary experience.

To enhance the atmosphere, the team even introduced the sounds of cicadas and crickets through speakers, immersing guests in the natural ambiance of the Mediterranean coast. MEHZCLA is a testament to 1747studio’s dedication to merging design, culture, and gastronomy into a singular, unforgettable experience.
