Alison Henry Design has transformed a tired Georgian townhouse into a modern masterpiece, blending classic elegance with contemporary style. Situated in a prestigious neighbourhood, the five-story property had suffered from years of alterations that left it with dated interiors and worn-out bathrooms. The brief was to breathe new life into the space, creating a light-filled, family-friendly home that honoured its heritage while embracing modernity.
The first step was a complete structural overhaul. Alison Henry Design reimagined the home’s layout, opening up rooms and extending the rear to include a balcony overlooking the courtyard garden. This redesign maximised natural light and established a seamless flow between the spaces, ensuring every room connected harmoniously with the garden views.
