Drawing inspiration from the vibrant visual language of Missoni and Christian Lacroix, Brooke Aitken Design responded to a brief that celebrated colour, texture, and individuality. At the heart of the redesign lies the kitchen, painted in Dulux Passionate Blue and grounded by a dramatic black-and-white geometric floor. This space nods to the streamlined luxury of P&O liners, merging Art Deco elegance with modern functionality. The removal of the existing pantry allowed for the creation of a custom banquet dining area, brought to life with a bespoke wallpaper designed in collaboration with Kingdom Home.
The interior architecture was refined through key spatial interventions, including the widening of original arches to improve flow and connectivity. Brooke Aitken Design maintained the apartment’s historic proportions while delivering a high-functioning layout that includes two full bathrooms, generous bedrooms, a hidden laundry, and fully integrated joinery.
