Nestled on the 26th floor of a sophisticated Toronto residence, this Yorkville pied-à-terre embodies refined elegance and serene stillness. With unobstructed 180-degree views, it offers a peaceful retreat amid the vibrancy of Yorkville, a neighborhood known for its fashion boutiques, museums, galleries, and restaurants. Designed for a couple who cherish and collect art, the suite harmonises contemporary sophistication with artistic expression.

Custom furnishings and art installations were integral to the design. Collaborating with millworkers, carpenters, and international vendors, the team crafted unique pieces tailored to the space. Notable is a commissioned work by Korean-born, Montana-based textile artist Mimi Jung, whose intricate weaving reflects the project’s blend of tradition and modernity.

The suite’s thoughtful spatial relationships honour both the art and the surrounding views, achieving a balance of sophistication and comfort. Warm palettes and mixed mediums ground the design, creating a space as inspiring as it is serene. The result is a home that resonates with Yorkville’s iconic charm while celebrating the clients’ artistic passion.
