The design brief centred on creating a feminine, uplifting environment defined by welcoming textures, playful yet elegant colour palettes, and carefully curated furnishings. Previously configured as a busy family home, the property required thoughtful spatial reorganisation to better suit single occupancy while maintaining its historic character and architectural integrity. The resulting scheme balances practicality with warmth, offering spaces designed for both quiet retreat and gracious entertaining.
A key highlight of the project is the master bedroom suite, formed by combining two adjoining first-floor rooms into a cohesive arrangement comprising a bedroom, dressing area, sitting space, and en-suite. Omexco bouclé wallcoverings introduce a soft tactile quality, while a four-poster bed establishes proportion and timeless character. Custom-designed furniture ensures cohesion through coordinated materials and forms, rather than direct matching, resulting in a layered and elegant composition.
