Contempo Studio has masterfully designed Project Sideroad, a 5,000 sq. ft. transitional chateau in Puslinch, Ontario, that exemplifies timeless luxury and refined craftsmanship. The residence blends classical architecture with modern sophistication, featuring a symmetrical precast concrete façade, classical proportions, and sleek contemporary detailing.

Contempo Studio’s vision balances grandeur and comfort, with carefully considered scale and spatial distribution creating an inviting yet commanding presence. Inside, the home’s layered, warm interior palette highlights natural materials such as richly grained woods, bold stones, and textured plaster. Dramatic marble and quartz surfaces contrast with soft, tactile finishes in key areas like the kitchen and primary ensuite. Bespoke millwork, artisanal lighting, and statement hardware add curated sophistication throughout.

A standout feature is the dramatic, sunken two-storey great room, illuminated by a full-height curtain wall that frames views of the surrounding landscape. Light plays a central role in the design, creating a serene, ever-changing atmosphere. High ceilings, full-height windows, and internal glazing between spaces foster a sense of connection, openness, and tranquillity.
