With only six months before move-in, Daoust Design executed a strategic transformation, collaborating closely with suppliers and subcontractors. Inspired by classic Parisian apartments, the original chevron-patterned white oak floors were meticulously restored, and standard doors were replaced with solid oak to emphasise the soaring ceilings. Decorative mouldings enhanced architectural refinement while providing the perfect backdrop for the couple’s extensive art collection.
The kitchen was subtly updated with natural oak veneer cabinetry and a matte black hood, creating a cohesive, timeless aesthetic. Bathrooms were refreshed with resurfaced marble, updated vanities, and thoughtfully selected lighting. Italian furniture balanced the high concrete ceilings with luxurious comfort, while tailored lighting choices added warmth and depth.
