Blue Odyssey

De Lussac Studio has unveiled Blue Odyssey, a private jet interior concept that reinterprets long-range aviation through a narrative inspired by Homer’s Odyssey, positioning flight as both a physical journey and a process of personal transformation.

The concept is structured around three interconnected dimensions: the outward voyage across distant horizons, an inward journey of reflection and renewal, and a spatial promenade within the aircraft itself. This internal circulation is conceived as a sequence of “islands”, where each area of the cabin becomes a distinct yet connected destination, encouraging movement and discovery throughout the interior.

Drawing influence from the world of yachting, De Lussac Studio introduces maritime design language into the aviation context. Fluid lines reminiscent of classic yacht architecture guide the spatial composition, creating a natural and continuous flow. This is complemented by a carefully curated palette of hand-finished woods, polished chrome and sustainable leathers, balancing timeless craftsmanship with the technological precision associated with the A350 platform.

A defining feature of Blue Odyssey is its use of colour. Blue, rarely dominant in private aviation interiors, becomes a central design element. Applied in deep tones and subtle gradients, it establishes a visual and emotional link between sky and sea, reinforcing a sense of calm, stability and continuity throughout the cabin.

Lighting plays a supporting yet essential role, subtly modulated to enhance volume and atmosphere without overwhelming the space. This restrained approach contributes to the overall sense of serenity, allowing materials and forms to define the experience.

The cabin is ultimately conceived as a mobile sanctuary, where comfort, introspection and movement coexist. Each zone is designed to support a different moment of the journey, from relaxation to contemplation, while maintaining a coherent architectural language.
