Tell us a little about your background in design (education, experience, etc)

I graduated from Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University and have 7 years of experience in luxury residence projects with developers and consultants.

How would you describe your personal design style?

Personally, I quite like the balanced fusion of contemporary and classical colonial aesthetics with preference for clean lines.Materials and furniture used could be a blend of the old and new with traditional rich woods from the colonial aesthetic, paired with metal, glass. The colour palette would likely involve a comfortable balance of modern neutrals and bold tones.

Where does your design inspiration come from?

From the places that I have visited or sometimes from social media platforms like instagram or design blogs and websites.

In what direction do you feel that design is moving towards in a general sense?

For me, I think the design can develop in many ways further. It’s fluid and has potential for evolution.Fusing multiple styles not only gives your space unique and personalised aesthetic, but it also allows for dynamic growth and transformation over time.

Name five key themes to consider when approaching design in 2024 and beyond.

  1. Sustainability
  2. Biophilic Design
  3. Smart and Interactive Design
  4. Health and Wellness
  5. Hybrid Spaces

If you could offer one piece of advice when it comes to design schemes, what would it be?

Following the trend of design about increasing focus on sustainability and biophilic design, earthy colour palettes might become even more popular. Expect to see a range of greens, browns, and softer, natural hues. And Eco-friendly materials will continue to be on-trend like biodegradable, recycled, and renewable materials.

How important are The International Design & Architecture Awards?

I think design awards acknowledge the talent, creativity, and innovation of designers. Winning or even being shortlisted for one provides validation for a designer’s work and can be a great boost to their confidence and enthusiasm.

What projects are you currently working on?

  • Hilton Vietnam : Service Apartment.
  • One Bangkok : Show Suites.
  • Private Residences.

What was your favourite project to work on and why?

I did the design for one condominium in Thailand. It’s my first project that I was involved in every process of the design part. Unfortunately it did not continue to be built at the end however it’s still my favourite project.

What was your most challenging project to work on and why?

Actually every project is challenging, because we face new problems that challenge us to improve. Some are about design, space, budget or client expectations. Every project has different problems and all are challenging in their own way.

Which products/services could you not live without when designing?

Ipad, it helps to combine everything that you need in one compact piece, such as your presentation, drawing, site photos and more.

What are your aims and goals for the next twelve months?

I hope I can do less work and travel more to balance life and get inspiration from the places that I plan to visit.
