Upon arrival, guests traverse vineyards to an open courtyard leading to the grand wine cellar lobby. This voluminous space, illuminated by sunlight through an oculus, features the dramatic dragon spiral staircase, inspired by a wine opener. The lobby, echoing musical theatre aesthetics, doubles as a venue for cultural events, reflecting Ningxia’s status as a major outdoor movie set location. The elevated lobby lounge offers panoramic views of Helan Mountain, with design elements celebrating local crafts like coir-rope weaving and Chinese paper cutting (Jianzhi).
Key highlights include a swimming pool modeled after natural stone caves, a restaurant and banquet hall with sandstone walls inspired by Helan Mountain rock paintings, and guest rooms blending rustic finishes with modern amenities. Eco-id’s design philosophy emphasizes timeless elements over fleeting trends, creating spaces that connect guests deeply with their surroundings.
The resort integrates Ningxia’s wine industry with cultural tourism, playing a pivotal role in boosting regional tourism. As part of the Dulaan Holiday Stroll complex, Amnor Resort stands as a pioneering force in promoting Ningxia as a prominent wine destination.
