Elicyon has completed a striking interior transformation of a 16,835 square foot villa in Dubai, creating a home that thoughtfully blends Emirati heritage with contemporary luxury. Designed for a multi generational Emirati family, the project reimagines an originally contemporary property into a more intimate, layered, and personalised environment while preserving its sense of openness and grandeur. Elicyon focused on comfort, warmth, and family oriented living, crafting spaces that meet the varied needs of a large household.

The International Design & Architecture Awards 2026
Spanning four levels and featuring eight bedrooms, a cinema, treatment room, gym, and swimming pool, the villa required a design approach that balanced functionality with elegance. Elicyon introduced a conservatory style extension for the client’s gym equipment and devoted extensive attention to bespoke craftsmanship. More than 150 custom pieces were created for the project, from joinery to finishes and decorative elements, establishing a unique visual identity throughout the home.
Collaboration with British and local artisans played a pivotal role in shaping the villa’s character. Fluted stairway details, a glass sculpture by Sans Souci, and Japanese inspired washi paper screens by Biden Designs add depth and artistry to the interiors. Elicyon used controlled repetition to unify the design, employing motifs such as chamfered edges, pearlescent textures, and soft colour palettes in pistachio, celadon green, and ivory. Golden trims and mother of pearl accents highlight the villa’s luxurious spirit while maintaining an atmosphere of understated elegance.
Elicyon ensured each room serves a distinct purpose, whether for formal entertaining or relaxed family time, while maintaining seamless spatial flow across the villa. The blend of handcrafted local elements, such as plaster walls and ceramic installations, with refined international finishes situates the home firmly within Dubai’s cultural and architectural landscape. Through its balanced fusion of heritage and contemporary refinement, Elicyon has created a timeless residence that reflects both the identity of its owners and the evolving sophistication of the city.
