The design brief centered on creating a unique and balanced space that respects the architectural heritage and historical texture of this iconic home, while introducing the sophisticated, contemporary spirit synonymous with Escape from Sofa. Drawing from the natural beauty of the Bosphorus and Istanbul’s rich cultural history, the design employs earthy tones to evoke warmth and a deep connection to the surrounding environment. These tones echo the muted hues of the landscape, from the soft shimmer of the Bosphorus waters to the weathered patina of the residence’s historic walls.

Through the integration of textural elements such as wood, stone, and natural fabrics, the design bridges the gap between the past and present. Large windows frame breathtaking views of the Bosphorus, allowing natural light to infuse the space with tranquility. The result is an ambiance that embodies modern sophistication while honoring the timeless charm of the home’s origins.
