Esra Kazmirci Mimarlik presents a residential project in Ayvalık that unites serene, light toned interiors with an exterior rooted in the region’s architectural language. Conceived as a timeless living environment, the house balances architectural continuity with a calm and contemporary interior approach. Clarity, proportion and restraint guide the design, creating a home that feels grounded, open and enduring rather than visually dominant.

The architectural approach prioritises harmony with its surroundings. Classical proportions, symmetry and scale inform the exterior, allowing the building to belong naturally to its context and age gracefully. This measured architectural language establishes the foundation for a fluid and understated interior atmosphere. Inside, simplicity is a deliberate decision, allowing light, materiality and art to define the character of the spaces.

Arranged over three floors, the house responds carefully to different living needs. The entrance level contains children’s rooms and guest bedrooms that support daily life. The basement level forms the social and service hub, with a media room, laundry, guest WC and an open plan living area integrated with the kitchen. The top floor is dedicated entirely to the parents as a private suite with high ceilings and strong visual connections to the landscape and sea.
