Esra Kazmirci Mimarlik Interiors undertook the complete demolition and reconstruction of a detached triplex stone house, infusing it with modern, minimalist lines. The house boasts an interior of 250 square meters and a terrace and landscape area of 220 square meters. Architectural work began in late 2021, with design preparations conducted simultaneously, leading to the interior’s completion in October 2023 after a 1.5-year process.

Designed for clients with whom the firm had previously collaborated in Zekeriyakoy, Esra Kazmirci Mimarlik Interiors embraced the couple’s affinity for greenery and nature, bringing this passion to life in the new residence. The house combines light oak furniture with ethnic decorative elements for a cohesive aesthetic. The living areas and bedrooms feature light linen tulles and blackout blinds on black rustic rods, while 5 cm black wooden blinds add a subtle touch in the kitchen and bathrooms. In the master bathroom, bamboo blinds allow natural light to filter through the stone-accented joinery.

Throughout the house, light grey micro topping flooring creates a continuous, contemporary look, with ethnic-patterned ceramic tiles providing character in the bathrooms. With the architectural and decorative processes running in tandem, Esra Kazmirci Mimarlik Interiors meticulously customized the interiors to the homeowners’ preferences, optimizing space by maintaining off-white walls and strategically placing decorative mirrors.

Noteworthy details include a striking black wood-burning fireplace that descends from the 6-meter ceiling, as well as an upper-floor guest room window offering a bird’s-eye view of the living area. This careful orchestration of design elements ensures a spacious, harmonious atmosphere in tune with the historical texture of the property.
