Flexjet and Ferretti Group have unveiled Riva Volare, a bespoke aircraft interior design that brings the timeless glamour of Riva motor yachts to the skies. The collaboration follows the partnership between the two luxury leaders, and represents a fusion of high-performance engineering, exceptional craftsmanship, and elegant design, values deeply shared by both brands.

Developed jointly by the design teams at Flexjet and Ferretti Group, Riva Volare takes direct inspiration from the iconic Dolce Vita aesthetic of classic Riva motor yachts. The concept has been meticulously installed across a Flexjet Gulfstream G650 and two Sikorsky S-76 helicopters, embodying the spirit of refined Italian style within the world of private aviation.

As part of Flexjet’s LXi Cabin Collection™, a portfolio of more than 50 uniquely curated cabin designs, Riva Volare was conceived as a sanctuary of understated luxury, balancing beauty, comfort, and practicality. Every detail evokes the essence of Riva’s design heritage, from the 1960s Aquarama to the contemporary Aquariva. The interior’s colour palette draws from Riva’s signature tones, blending rich contrasts between light and dark surfaces, tactile leathers, and polished metals.

Signature features include handstitched leather seating with aquamarine piping and embroidered Riva logos, high gloss varnished wood panelling in Riva’s trademark striped teak and holly, and accents finished in ‘Blu Sera’ metallic paint and polished nickel. The nautical theme continues with blue-and-white striped social seating and carpet patterns designed to evoke the wash of water trailing behind a Riva yacht. Completing the experience, the Gulfstream G650 is equipped with Riva designed textiles, china, glass, and silverware.

Beyond its elegance, the Riva Volare interior has been engineered for comfort, efficiency, and compliance with the most stringent aviation standards. The design has also been seamlessly adapted for Flexjet’s Sikorsky S-76 helicopters, creating one of the most distinctive luxury helicopter interiors in operation.

Currently featured in Flexjet’s helicopter fleets in Florida, The Bahamas, Italy, and the French Riviera, the Riva Volare experience epitomises the journey “From Sea to Sky.” This collaboration between Flexjet and Ferretti Group is not merely a design exercise, it is a celebration of heritage, craftsmanship, and the enduring pursuit of luxury without limits.
